Eventhandler system

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

At the set up of the system there will also need to be a workflow or eventhandler defined for the administrator. This system makes it possible to set up controls for any possible input and/or correction to help the administrator in various actions.

Example:

If you enter vacation for an employee the system can check if the employee has indeed enough vacation rights.

Recovery of overtime may only be entered with a minimum of 4h.

In the simplest form an eventhandler system is connected to the HR or Payroll administrator where no verification what so ever is done and any entry or correction of clockings, day results, schedule or period results are allowed. In this case the HR or Payroll administrator then has the most free way of entering corrections, but he will have to check if the business rules are being executed.

In a less free form the system can help the HR or Payroll by automatically performing a number of controls where according to the company agreements may not be differed from.

The eventhandler system is normally configured at the configuration and installation of your system.
