Architecture SynCore

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

SynCore is the common basic platform on which the SynGuard and SynPeople applications run. By using a common platform this offers you a full integration for access control and time registration. Depending on your installation and/or your rights, you can only access the SynGuard or the SynPeople application or both.

The SynCore, SynGuard and SynPeople applications run on a central server. Depending on the chosen implementation, this server is accessible locally at the company or from a distance (SaaS ASP implementation). For the end user however this doesn't make a difference, and this is completely transparent, since both SynCore, SynGuard and SynPeople are fully web-based. You can directly access the full applications with your browser without any additional installation on your PC and this starting from any location where you have access to your company network or the remote ASP server.

Schematically, we propose the following architecture:

In most cases there is a network of identification readers connected to the SynGuard and SynPeople application (access control badge readers and time registration badge readers). These can be connected on 1 site as well as on several sites with the central server.
