SynCon is the network element that monitors and controls barriers (doors, gates, etc.) and the corresponding badge readers.
To provide an extra description of the physical location of this network component. In this way you always know later on exactly where a component is installed.
Can be set numerically.
Here you can enable the tamper control to on or off.
Here you can switch the power control on or off.
The maximum voltage limit of the emergency battery can be set here.
In this tab you can define the type on the SynCon for every possible entrance (Normally open or Normally closed) and the debounce time in milliseconds.
For outputs you can't define the software type (normally open or closed), only the hardware on the SynCon (see installation manual SynCon).
In this tab you can add the different network elements which have to control this SynCon. One has the choice here between all the possible barriers, for example a door. The badge readers which control the Syncon will be defined at the barrier itself, since a badge reader is part of the barrier.
Under the tab Comment you can add the necessary remarks, for yourself or for others, regarding the SynCon.
The tab "Information" provides you important information, like the IP address and the MAC address of your system.
Here you can perform the command to reset the SynCon for example.
The results of the executed commands can be found under the tab "Command results".
Under the tab "Add" the network element type can be added (door, gate, turnstile, walking street, elevator, reader, input, output), as well ass the index and eventually the default configuration.
The status tab indicates if the SynCon can communicate with the SynApp or not (with other words if it's online or offline).
In case the SynCon is offline, this will also be shown in the left list by the symbol x behind the SynCon name.
